He Has Sworn

Crowns of Splendor in the Lord’s Hands!
Those The Lord Promises to Take Delight In!!

The Lord has sworn by His right hand and by His mighty arm: Never again will I give your grain as food for your enemies and never again will foreigners drink the new wine for which you have toiled. Isaiah 62: 8

The Lord is gracious.
He is letting people know that He has good stored up and planned for us.

Isaiah is future casting the plans of God for Israel and for all humanity.
Not just a hope but a promise, it is coming.

For Israel for they were about to go into exile and suffer that they would be brought back to God, to believing in the one true God.
That they would be brought back into a place of freedom with blessings and God being their guard, their provider and their blesser.

For all humanity because we are being told God’s right arm, Jesus Christ, is coming to set us free from the brokenesses of the thief of the world, world’s system of sin, death and corruption.
That this is a promise for the here and now.
That He has really come to give us this now.

And it is a promise for our future.
The Kingdom of God, eternity with our Father, with our brother Jesus, and the fullness of the Holy Spirit.
Where there is no thief.
That the curse of Adam and Eve is over and gone, and we live in the restored, redeemed Eden.
And place where the name actually means pleasure.
Where the obstacles of this life are long gone.
And we will thrive in greater deeper ways that we have yet to even fathom.

May we know that we know that we know, that God has already prepared blessings for us, that we are walking towards, that it is a promise.

May we know that we know that we know, we can taste those blessings already through the provision of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, in this season, in this fallen world, seeing God’s goodness, here and now as we head to Him and this completed vision.
