Allegories of Faith

Those Who Feast On The Bread Of Life!!
Those Who’s Lamp Of Light Never Goes Out But It Always Lit!

When anyone brings a grain offering to the Lord, their offering is to be of the finest flour. They are to pour olive oil on it and put incense on it and take it to Aaron’s sons the priests. The priest shall take a handful of the flour and oil. together with all the incense, and burn this a memorial portion on the altar, a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord Leviticus. 2: 1-2

This all speaks of Jesus and who we become in Jesus.
Just like the devotional the other day about the burnt offering.
This offering foreshadows who we become in Jesus.
This offering is us.

For the finest flour is Jesus Christ.
His body crucified on the cross.
His body that walked in perfect obedience.
His flesh perfectly surrendered to God.
Him able to keep His flesh, His mind in check, throughout His walking on earth as a human.
The words He spoke that fed us, feed us.

The olive oil speaks of the Holy Spirit.
That He is the power source, the life that we receive inside us.
He is poured on.
Just like David speaks of pouring oil on his sheep to heal them.
The Holy Spirit is poured on us, when we receive the finest flour of Jesus.
That this gives us eternal life, eternal healing.
That He fills us with His power-to be led by Him, to be like Him.

Incense is compared to prayers all throughout the Bible.
That our prayers, our speaking to Jesus, our yielding, asking, seeking, knocking is this incense.

That this is burned on the altar.

So all of this speaks of a person who believes in Jesus Christ.
That as we have the tasted and eaten -believed-of Jesus, His sacrifice.
Which supplied us His Holy Spirit, as we have believed spoken our faith, yielded ourselves to Him, seeking His way.
Then we are burned on the altar.
That we are put through refining fire.
That the genuineness of our faith that is more precious than gold though it perishes even though refined by fire, may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

That this is the aroma pleasing to the Lord.
Faithful people who believe in Jesus.
Faithful people who receive His Spirit.
Faithful people who speak, surrender to this Rock, who seek, ask for His ways
Faithful people, who keep going through the trials and fiery furnaces, that shape us, that refine us to be like Him.

May we know that we know that we know that everything points us in the Bible to Jesus, that we would believe that He really is the Messiah, that we receive Him as Lord, and become the pleasing aroma to the Only God, and dwell forever as part of His family, in His Kingdom of Life, Light and Love.
