Better Than We Hoped

Vessels of the Lord Almighty!!!
Redeemed Ones for All Eternity!!

But we had hoped that He was the one who was going to redeem Israel. Luke 24: 21

He wasn’t what they thought He would be.
They weren’t expecting a Savior take away their sins.
They were looking for a King David Warrior to beat their natural oppressors.
But God gets to the roots of our problems.

So He took out the real ultimate enemy.
For people aren’t our enemies.
The devil is our enemy.
Sin is our enemy.
The fallenness and brokenness of sinful nature is our enemy.

So He sent Jesus as our Perfect Offering, to cover what we could not, to save us from what we could not save ourselves from.
Because solving the root of the problem, solves all the other problems.

For by receiving what Jesus did for us on the cross, gives us peace today in our circumstances.
For by receiving what Jesus did for us on the cross, we receive hope for a better tomorrow.
For by receiving what Jesus did for us on the cross, we know that this life isn’t the life that is going to matter.
For by receiving what Jesus did for us on the cross, we know that there is an eternal home for us with our Lord, that is a place without oppression, without sin, without pain, without striving, without suffering.

For by receiving what Jesus did for us on the cross, we know that we have a Faithful Father, who comes down to help us today, and tomorrow and forever.

For by receiving what Jesus did for us on the cross, we know that our Savior made the way for us to have God’s Spirit, the Holy Spirit, the power that made all the universe to live inside us, daily and nightly, so we live in inner comfort, knowing He moves mountains on our behalf, He makes streams in the desert, He makes pathways through the ocean for us, here and now and with Him for eternity.

May we know that we know that we know, Jesus brought the redemption we needed and is better than we could have hoped for.
