Remaining in His Love

Filled With Love Little Ones of the Lord!!
Forever Chosen Children of the Most High!!

Now remain in my love. If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in His love. John 15: 9-10

Remain in my love.
He has already given us His love.
Now we just remain in it.
He says to keep His commands.

The first command He gave, is to believe in the One He sent, Jesus.
Then He commands us to love others.

He doesn’t say we lose our salvation, if we don’t keep His commands as a believer.
And He isn’t saying He won’t love us, if we don’t obey Him, as a believer.
In fact when I was in my greatest season of rebellion as a believer, Jesus came to me and loved me more, loved me into wholeness.

I didn’t lose my salvation or my Savior.
But I didn’t lose my standing as a daughter of God, or my savior Jesus, or lose my being filled with the Holy Spirit.
I didn’t lose my calling for ministry.

I suffered in my circumstances, a broken heart.
And God promises that I won’t lose the time, either, that He will restore what was lost.

Because my salvation was never based on my good behavior and I can’t lose it from bad behavior either.

Instead, I got to learn more about Jesus commands. Loving God and loving people.

And the only way I could do this, is from receiving more of His love for me, first, to then give it to others.

Receiving more of His paid for forgiveness for me, so I could give it out to others.

that’s What He means.

The more we receive from Him, the more we can do what He called us to do, love everyone around us with the love we first receive.

It’s why He gave us the Holy Spirit to lead and guides us, filling us with Him, His heart, His ways.

So it actually becomes our new nature, wanting the ways of Jesus.

May we know that we know that we know Jesus has already given us His love and we cannot lose it.

May we know that we know that we know He already made away for us to want and desire to do all that He wants us to do, by giving us His love first.

May we know that we know that we know as we are filled with His love, we can do anything and everything He called us to do, for we will want to, being spurred on by His Love and it will feed more of us with His love, a positive cycle of love fulfilled.
