Those Who Drink And Live Forever!!
Those Who Will Never Thirst Again!!

The Lord answered Moses, Go out in front of the people. Take with you some of the elders of Israel and take in hand the staff with which you struck the Nile and go. Exodus 17: 5

God wanted Moses to show this miracle out in front of the people.
That He has people go to watch the miracle.
That He has Moses take the staff that He used to bring forth miracles in Egypt.
The staff that was used to strike the Nile.
The staff that when the Nile was struck, the water turned to blood.

All of this is foreshadowing of Jesus-the Jewish Messiah.
First because Jesus was going to be publicly executed.
A miracle in front of all of the people.
Him on a cross that everyone could see.
The body for the Messiah, struck.

God has Moses use the staff to strike the rock.
Jesus is the rock from the book of Daniel—the Kingdom that will override, every Kingdom before it, the only Kingdom to remain.
So God is showing that as the Jews-Moses- strike the rock of Jesus Christ, Him on the cross, water will flow.
The Water of the life.
The water that they really need to live.
The Rivers of Living water of the Holy Spirit.
The Immortal Spirit, God’s Spirit, the Tree of Life that we all need to have eternal life.

God mentioned the staff.
The staff that Moses struck the water of the Nile with, that brought forth blood.
For Jesus’s His blood was going to come out, when He was stuck.
His life, His blood, that would be produced when the rock was struck.

God was showing all people that we need His blood, His sacrifice.
Because the first miracle we all need is Jesus, His blood, His forgiveness, His blood that covers all the sinful nature of mankind.
That Jesus’s blood, His sacrifice is the life-giving water that gives us true life, the reconnection to God our Father, the Rivers of Living water that will come to live inside all people when they receive Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross.
For His blood gives us forgiveness, for mankind’s natural heart bent against God’s ways.
The heart that mankind received, our model, our form, our very nature corrupted, diseased through the disobedience of Adam and Eve.
That this disobedience separated Adam and Eve and then all mankind after, from God’s immortal Spirit, this River of Life that feeds us forever.

So Jesus, His being struck, His blood pouring out of this rock, gives us back the eternal life, the water that we all need to live forever.
That He first gives us this life, here in this desert, like the Israelites, the fallen world.
But it fixes us, seals us, saves us for eternal life, immortality, to be with our Immortal Father God, in the Promised Land the Kingdom of God.

And God our wonderful Father wanted all people to know this.
So He brought out the crowds the leaders, the elders, for them to see, this miracle, the life-giving water out of the rock.

That not only they would see and believe that God will provide life for us forever, through Jesus Christ, but all of those who came after.
That we be saved by receiving Jesus, His blood, His life-giving water.

May we know that we know that we know God used example after example through the Jewish nation, Israel, His chosen people, those called to lead, to serve all humanity by being party to God revealing Himself to all people and His perfect ways to redeem, to reconnect, to save, to heal all His creation—mankind—that we see become His precious intimate children again.

May we know that we know that we know everything in the Bible testifies of Jesus Christ, that we would all see and believe and be saved, healed forever.

May we know that we know that we know the rock of Jesus was struck 2000 years ago but His life-giving water, His blood that offers forgiveness is available to all people, Jew, Gentile, all of humanity Today, that we call on His name and be saved forever!!.
