Defeating the devil

Children of the Most High God!!
Chosen Ones of the Lord!!

And said, if you are the King of the Jews, save yourself. Luke 23: 37

Jesus is on the cross.
He suffering at the end of His life.
And soldiers came up and mocked Him.
As did people.

Tempting Him, Challenging Him to give up His mission.
If you are the Messiah,
If you are the King,
If you are the Son of God,
Then prove it.
Just like His temptation in the wilderness, if you are the Son of God, then…

This is what the enemy does to all people, too.
He tries to make us doubt our value or worth to God.
So that we take things into our own hands and try make it happen ourselves.
Instead of trusting in God and His plan, His timing, His Methods, and His power.

So the solution to fight all temptations, is to know who we are to God, to Jesus.
If we know our value in Christ, how much He gave up for us, how much God truly madly deeply loves us, we can withstand any temptation like Jesus did.

May we know that we know that we know who we are in Christ, so that we can trust God to work in our circumstances and defeat the enemy every time.
