Those Who Find Their Joy!
Receivers of the Treasure That Never Fades or Perishes!

We will never find any basis of charges against this man Daniel unless it has something to do with the law of His God. Daniel 6: 5

This scripture testifies of Jesus’s character.
It’s a foreshadowing of Jesus’s integrity.
That He would be perfect in action, in heart.
For the Pharisees had to make up charges against Him from their law.
For Pilate found no reason to convict Him and stated it three times.

I keep reading through books and books of the Bible and over and over again, and it keeps revealing Jesus.
Isn’t that wonderful?
Each story in the Bible testifies of Jesus.
Yes, these are lives of real people.
Yes, these events happened.
But it’s incredible to see that each one of the events, these people, communicated our Savior to us.

That Jesus is so vast.
That our God is so big, that we need story after story after story to know the shape of His heart, His character.

Because knowing Jesus really is everything.
Because receiving Jesus really is everything.

While as a kid I would not have agreed.
But the more I have lived this life, I have found that nothing can fill me up like He can.

I wanted to travel overseas. I did.
I wanted to study abroad. I did.
I wanted to accomplish big things. I have.
Im still waiting on more normal things.
But even yet, I know that without my Savior, it would still be missing something.

Because for all of the high places, the mountain peaks I was on, they didn’t fill me, satisfy like I thought like they would.

But yet sitting at home, getting to write documents that glorify Him, that lead others to Him, getting to preach Him at the grocery store or teach others about Him at any place, brings me this completeness, this satisfaction, this joy that nothing else in this world has.

And I did enjoy those moments of peaks.
But this is greater.
This is more.
This is more in every way.
And the peace, the satisfaction, there is no let down.
There is no sugar crash.
There is no twinged with sorrow in doing it.

So God in His extraordinary love for all people, He spends every generation, giving us story after story to show us, page after page, life after life, in the Bible to show us our Messiah.
That we would see Him and receive Him and be saved forever.
So that He can give us the world, the new world, the best world, with Him, forever.
That we would experience the love, the peace, the joy, we are all looking for.

May we know that we know that we know God’s persistent reiteration of who Jesus is, shows us how important and valuable knowing Him is.
