He Comes to Reveal Himself Part I
Those Who Never Walk Alone!!
Those Seen and Sought After By the Savior of the World!!
Now that same day two of them were going to a village called Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem. Luke 24: 13
Jesus joins them on this walk.
Though they do not recognize Him.
They walk together seven miles.
He explains who the Messiah is through the prophets and scriptures.
Then when they get to the destination, they ask Jesus, to come in and stay with them.
This story, this example, is to show us, how Jesus leads some of us to Him.
For He joins us on our journey before we know who He is.
Then He explains Who the Messiah is through the scriptures, through intimate time with Him.
Then at the time when we know the truth, the complete truth is given to us, the end of seven miles, (seven is the number of completion) we get to choose, do we want the Messiah as Lord or not.
If we invite Him in, He enters and dines with us, just like He did with them.
He leads us into receiving the forgiveness of our sins, communion, breaking the bread with Him.
Receiving His sacrifice on the cross for our sinful nature given to us at Eden.
And in that moment, we recognize that we were with the Messiah and have been with the Messiah the whole time.
This is one way, we, people are saved. For He comes to us in our journey in this life and reveals Himself to us and then we can choose, do we want Him to stay or not.
That He will do this for all people in this season, those who have not heard or seen or know Him.
May we know that we know that we know, He will come to any and all people, walking on this journey with them, revealing Himself to them, that they/we/all would have to a chance to receive Him as Lord and be saved for eternity.
May we know that we know that we know, as we pray for unsaved loved ones, that Jesus Himself will do this, He will find them on their journey, and reveal Himself to them, that they would know and receive Him too.
