His Words Are For Us!

Those Who Know Feast on the Wisdom that That is Greater Than Gold!
Those Who Know Taste of His Truths that are Sweeter Than Honey!!

The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. Psalm 19: 8

Growing up a believer, I read my Bible daily.
But I wasn’t told why I should read my Bible daily.
If I would have known why I would have gotten more out of it.
There is some old saying you get out what you put in.

Well I was reading as a kid, because I was supposed to.
Kind of like “See God I’m checking the box, Im doing this cause it makes you happy.”

What I needed to know is what David and so often many of the writers in the Bible expound.

That reading the Bible, is a gift for me!
That reading His words, bring us joy.
Because they tell us that God, Jesus loves us.
Because they tell us who we are, His, loved, treasures in a field that Jesus gives up everything to buy.
Because they tell us the best way to live.
Because they tell us the meaning of life.
Because they tell us not only do we have a greater purpose in this life but that we have a purpose for a life after this.
Because they tell us who God is and what He wants for us.
Because they give us wisdom that makes sense of everything around us.
Because they literally bring health to our bones and life to our bodies.

May we know that we know that we know God’s words are there for us, to bless us, to lead us, to heal us, to direct us.

May we know that we know that we know the more we feast on His words, the more joy we will have.
