Those Offered a New Way, a New Life!

Saul, Saul why do you persecute me? Acts 9: 4

Jesus intervened in Saul’s life.
Jesus is the Maker of Heaven and Earth!
Jesus can speak and Creation Comes into being!
Jesus spoke and the wind and the waves obey Him!
Jesus spoke and the blind and the deaf and the dying were healed.
Jesus spoke and food was multiplied to more than enough!

And here we see Jesus speaking, intervening into a man’s life to move him from the wrong path, onto the path of life.

Jesus didn’t have to.
For He is God!
He could have spoken and ended this man, his campaign, his whole company.
For we see that Elijah did this, calling down fire to stop a company of men attacking him.

And everything, life itself has to obey Jesus.

But instead of harming a man seeking to harm Jesus’s people, He intervened!
He showed up.
He spoke to this man and his people.
And He gave them a new mission.
He gave them a new way forward.
So Saul became Paul, the missionary.

It’s what Jesus does for us all.
It’s what Jesus did for us all.

He came down and intervened in our lives.
He showed us the way of life.
He changed our names.
He changed our missions.

May we know that we know that we know Jesus made a way for all of us to be new people!

May we know that we know that we know Jesus came down to die for us, that we could live.

May we know that we know that we know Jesus offers this to all people!
