Laying Of Hands

Those Who Receive The Only God Who Helps Us And Upholds Us With His Righteous Right Hand!
Those Who Choose To Humble Themselves Under His Mighty Hand That He Might Exalt Us!!

You are to lay your hand on the head of your offering and slaughter it at the entrance to the tent of meeting. Then Aaron’s sons shall splash the blood against the sides of the altar. Leviticus 3: 2 (fellowship offering)

I was reading this and asking myself why, why do they need to lay their hands on the offering.
This is part of fellowship./thanksgiving offering.

Jesus laid His hands on people to heal them.
Jesus laid His hands on kids to bless them.
So Jesus was sharing His Spirit of love and healing through His hands.

We see apostles laying their hands on people to give them the Holy Spirit.
We see apostles laying their hands on others to commission them for their calling.
So the Apostles were sharing their callings, their love, their unity, their healing from Jesus’s Spirit through their hands.

So why do they need to put their hands on the head of the animal for a fellowship offering.
A transfer happens when we lay our hands on someone, something.

Which the means the fellowship offering is us offering ourselves to Jesus.
That we are transferring part of ourselves to this animal.
The animal that is about to be sacrificed.
That we are symbolically becoming this sacrifice.
That we are offering ourselves to God as a sacrifice.
That this is our fellowship offering, ourselves given to Him.

Which is what it really means to be a follower of Jesus, God.

Because we are saying, I receive Jesus’s death for my natural rebellious heart from Adam and Eve.
That I was sacrificed, died and now He lives in me.
That we now have complete fellowship in our spirit.
That this animal sacrifice was to show us, that we die in spirit to our old ways.
But that Jesus, gives us new life.
That now we live in Him, for Him, with Him, never to be parted from Him.
That we are now forever in fellowship with Him.

May we know that we know that we know everything in the Bible testifies of the relationship that Jesus offers all mankind.

May we know that we know that we know we don’t have to sacrifice animals anymore to show or gain a fellowship with the Lord,

May we know that we know that we know that the only offering God, Jesus wants is our hearts, turned to Him, receiving Him as our Lord, that He could and would fill us and give us complete fellowship with Him, forever,
