Moses, Joseph, and Jesus
Those Who Realize God Sent Us A Rescuer!
Those Who See Him And Receive His Gift of Life!
They answered, '“An Egyptian rescued us from the shepherds. He even drew water for us and watered the flock”. Exodus 2: 19
In this story, Moses is the Egyptian.
Moses protected the 7 daughters of a Midian Priest.
And he watered their flock.
Moses was a Hebrew but raised like an Egyptian Prince.
Moses runs away to another country as Pharaoh is looking to kill him.
Then he finds seven sisters, then protects them and waters their sheep.
First Moses sounds like the story of Joseph in Genesis.
A Hebrew raised up to be a Prince of Egypt.
That He goes to saves others in a pagan nation.
Not recognized at first for His Hebrew roots.
And both speak of our Savior, Yeshua, Jesus Christ.
For He was and is a Hebrew.
And under rejection, persecution, He went to the rest of the world, the pagan world, and saves everyone who believes in Him, our Hebrew Messiah, cloaked, covered in a Gentile name, A prince of Gentiles.
With Moses, we see that the seven sisters at the well, that He protects, is to remind us of the 7 years that God declares brings forth canceling of the debts.
And then Moses waters their flock.
Without Water nothing is able to live.
Water is to speak of The Life Force of God our Father, our Savior Messiah, Jesus: The Holy Spirit.
For Water is life that we all need, the Spirit of God, The Life Force that we receive, drink from, to have eternal life, that lasts past this mortal body.
That Moses waters the flock.
Meaning a Moses to come, the Messiah, would open the way to the life force of God, by protecting the people, by canceling the debts of sin, then opening the way to the water of life, the Holy Spirit.
And Moses even more foreshadows the Messiah.
For He goes back, removes the people of God, from slavery to pagan world system, leading them into The Promised Land.
Which is what our Messiah did and does for all people who receive Him.
He sets us free from slavery to the world system, leading us into the Promised Land of God’s Kingdom forever.
May we know that we know that we know everything and everyone in the Bible testifies of our beautiful Messiah, What He Did and What He Will Still Do.
May we know that we know that we know our beautiful Messiah, our Hebrew Yeshua, cloaked as a Gentile, as Jesus Christ, canceled all the debts to our sinful nature, and opened up the wellspring of life, the Holy Spirit to us and for us.
May we know that we know that we know today is the day that we can believe and receive Him as Lord and Savior, to receive and drink the water of life, to live forever in the Promised Land of God’s Kingdom.
