New Hearts, New Minds

New Creations In Christ Jesus!!
Those Made New, Those Born Again!!

My sheep listen to my voice, I know them and they follow me. John 10: 27

Because He is the Lord.
He knows us because He lives inside us.
Then He says we follow Him.
And we will.

Because He gave us a new heart and new mind to follow Him.
He took out the old heart, the old mind, and gave us Him, His Spirit, His heart, His thoughts, His desires.

So when Jesus is telling us we follow Him, it was a statement of a fact, not an order.
He is saying, that now we think like Him.
Now since we have His heart, we will automatically start loving people more, and more deeply, more unconditionally.
That it’s not based on our actions, it’s based on our new state.

We start to think different.
We see people differently.
And that will lead our actions to be different.
We will start caring about things He cares about.

That is the following Him He mentions.
Then as we grow our actions will too.
For He has given us a wellspring of love inside that will start pouring out.

But it starts with the being, the being new, the being with Him, the being changed forever on the inside by Him by first simply believing in who He says He is and what He said He did.

May we know that we know that we know, once we believe we became new creations in Christ, forever changed on the inside, made new, made to look and think and feel like our Lord and Savior Jesus.
