Observing-Obedience and Love

Those Who Find The Love That Believes All Things, Hopes All Things, Endures All Things!!
Those Who Find The Love That Never Ends!!

Observe the sabbath, because it is holy to you. Anyone who desecrates it is to be put to death.; those who do any work on that day must be cut off from their people. Exodus 31: 14

To observe in one definition means to see, to notice.
Which I wrote about in the devotional on the day before.
But now I want to expound—to observe—meaning to practice, to do, to obey.

Mainly because I have been texting with a friend on the blessing that comes upon us when we obey Jesus.
That we have been discussing for a month, the power of obedience.
That I teach that as we obey Jesus, we are filled with more healing, more blessings.

What we Gentiles call the Old Testament-the Tankah to my Jewish friends and family-is full of directives on obedience.
That the Jewish people were called to obey.
And in that, God promised great blessings:
healing, health, prosperity, joy, peace, relationships, victory.

But then He always outlines the consequences of disobedience.
That it brings all the opposites:
sickness, disease, death, lack, suffering, fear, loneliness, hunger, oppression.

In this scripture, God, Jesus is telling us that to practice, to obey the sabbath.
That, that, brings a blessing.
But that our disobedience brings, death, suffering.
Ultimately this is show us that those who practice—who observe who receive the sabbath—will be saved forever.

For the Sabbath is speaking of God’s provision for salvation.
That would come through Jesus Christ paying for all mankind’s disobedience Him.
And give us Jesus’s perfect obedience.
Which is how we observe the Sabbath and live.

In November of 2025, I wrote on the parallel of this exact scripture but from Ezekiel.
For God put this all throughout the Bible that we would receive His offering, eternal life.
Which is Jesus.
Our Sabbath.
Our Obedience.
That Jesus accomplished for us.

So we just receive this observation.
And then we are saved, under the forever obedience of Jesus.

But I want to expound the power of obedience too.
For this is what Jesus empowers us to do.
To obey God.
To obey His ways,
To obey that we be blessed here and now.
Now to be saved.
For only Jesus could do that for us.
But that we have the abilities to do all He called us to do now, here in the corrupted fallen season.

The Bible is full of ways we can obey God to be blessed and be a blessing.
That everyone around us see God, Jesus through us.
That everyone around us then choose life in God’s eternal Kingdom though Jesus Christ too.

Before Jesus was given on earth, God had to tell the Israelites how to live.
Because back then, the world was dark.
Really dark.
I don’t mean without the light of the sun.
I mean really dark in the minds and hearts of mankind.
To a level that we of present day cannot comprehend.
For we live in the season that Jesus has already come and been crucified.
Where His perfect Spirit has been loosed across the world.

It’s like when God talks to Jonah about Ninevah.
Ninevah literally did not know right from wrong.
And neither did Israel.
Neither did mankind.
So they were being taught what is right.
What is true.
God’s ways that bring us life.
God’s ways that lead us from darkness to wisdom.
God’s ways that lead us into His healing today.

And those still apply to mankind.
Meaning as we do them, God still really does bring a blessing.
Meaning as we do them, God still does really bring us greater healing.
Meaning as we do them, God still does use that obedience to fulfill blessings in our lives.

Will this obedience bring us eternal life, meaning that we can earn our salvation.
No!
Because only Jesus could obey these laws, rules, perfectly in heart mind, speech, and actions, since inception in the womb until death.

BUT even those who are doing these ways of God’s, He will actually bring the truth of Jesus to them, that they be saved by Jesus’s actions too.

So we can’t lose by obeying God.
We can only win!

May we know that we know that we know God telling us to observe the Sabbath, that we will get the forever blessing of being connected to God, our Father that gives us life forever.

May we know that we know that we know that every obedience to God was literally designed to bless us, to bring us into healing into joy, into peace, and so much more.

May we know that we know that we know that we know whether we have started this journey by seeking to be blessed by obedience or obeying by seeking to avoid suffering or obeying to seek to love God and Jesus thereby obeying them in a greater measure, God is our loving giving gracious and merciful Heavenly Father, knowing the motivations of the human heart that He made, that He uses all these methods to gather His children into the fold of Jesus Christ, that not one of us, no, not one of us miss out on the forever living, forever loving, forever healthy, forever blessed eternity in His Kingdom!!!
