Our Journey
Those Who Testify of the Goodness of God!!
Those Who Cannot Stop Speaking the Wonders of the Lord!!
The man they call Jesus made some mud and put it on my eyes. He told me to go to Siloam and wash. So I went and washed, and then I could see. John 9: 11
The blind man being healed is symbolic of every person’s journey, those who receive the Messiah.
The blind man was like the first man, Adam.
Jesus used mud to heal Him, because God, Jesus used dust to make man, Adam.
It shows Jesus’s authority as God on earth, the Creator, the Maker of All Things.
We all like Adam, have had a sinful nature imparted into us at Eden.
When the blindman met Jesus, Jesus had Him go and wash.
We are all called to wash ourselves in the sacrifice of Jesus.
Which cleanses us from us from our sinful nature, and makes us clean, new creations in Christ, the old washed away, like the mud on the man’s eyes.
Our eyes aren’t just opened.
They are new eyes.
For we even have a new heart.
And then like the blind man, now we see.
We see that the only way to God is through Jesus Christ.
We see that Jesus was God with us and capable of doing everything God did and does.
We see that God is a healer.
We see that He comes to us and heals us.
We see that as we obey Him He opens up our eyes, and our mind and our thoughts to understand the things of God.
We see that God has now given us a bigger purpose, to go tell everyone else who He is and what He can do and that He is for us.
May we know that we know that we know, the blind man’s journey is all our journeys.
