Private Parts Exposed!
New Creations In Christ Jesus!!
Those Now Living With Eternal Life and Love Beating Within Their Chest!!
And do not go up to my altar on steps, or your private parts may be exposed. Exodus 20: 26
Every scripture must be interpreted by other scriptures.
That is how we can understand the depth of the unique statements like God mentioned above.
Surface level He is showing us He doesn’t want us to expose our private parts.
But it has a deeper meaning.
First steps are a reference to people before and later, who used to offer sacrifices to false gods, places where steps led to altars called high places all throughout the Bible.
Then He says that our private parts would be shown.
Meaning our inner core of lostness.
Meaning our hearts bent towards the natural to worship what we see and not the unseen God of the Universe.
That He is setting the stage, the rule, to not makes steps to His alter, lest we turn it into a pagan worshipping altar where we worship everything He made and false things we give power to in our own minds.
That our disobedience in making steps would show out our Adam and Eve natural bent to disobey God hearts.
But all of this is also to point us to our Savior.
That the clothes the Priests wore covered them on the outside but the core of them, us, still needed to change.
That is why He sent Jesus Christ, the Messiah.
For His sacrifice when we accept it, changes our very core, our hidden unseen parts, our heart inside our chests.
That receiving Jesus Christ, His sacrifice for us on this cross, gives us our new nature, our new heart, our new Spirits, that now leads us to follow, obey, worship and love the Only God, the One True God, the Unseen God in the Heavens, the One who can give us life forever!
May we know that we know that we know everything in the Bible is meant to lead us, to direct us, to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, that we would be redeemed, given new spiritual hearts that lead us to know, to love, and to be able to live with God Himself, today, tomorrow and forever, into eternity.
May we know that we know that we know while we were all born with the wrong hearts, because of Adam and Eve’s first disobedience, God in His mercy, for us, His children, His creations, His masterpieces, sent Jesus to fix this issue that we can just receive and walk. live and love as the people, the children of God we were always called to be.
May we know that we know that we know God— who offers all people His Son’s sacrifice, that we can all choose to receive, by simply calling on His name with our mouth—did it this way, allowing us to choose—though spending each day loving us and wooing us that would choose this way—because God is a God of love, and He wants children who choose to love Him back.
