Those Who Speak to the Rock of Jesus Christ And Receive!
Children With Redeemed, Renewed, Transplanted Hearts!!

Maintaining His love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet He does not leave the guilty unpunished. He punishes the children and their children and their children for the sin of the parents to the third generation. Exodus 34: 7

People read scriptures like this and think God is mean and scary.
But He’s not.
He has laid out the truths of our world.

He, first is giving Moses the ten commandments again.
That He is re-establishing His rules, His ways, that we would follow them and be saved, be healed, be filled with Him and His life.

He then passes in front of Moses speaking truths of who He is:

The Lord Lord the compassionate gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining His love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet He does not leave the guilty unpunished.

So this is the context of the above scripture.

Why then choose this one to expound.
Because God gave it to me to share.
And because it sounds so harsh and scary.
And I want to set people free!

God-Jesus are letting us know they are just.
That we have a choice.
There was a comedian I loved that used to joke it was like choosing, cake or death.
That if all people knew there was a choice, that all people would choose cake.

But this is so much better than cake.
For God-Jesus- is offering us Himself.
For God-Jesus- is offering us life with Him forever.
For God-Jesus- is offering us health, completeness, joy, peace, healing, eternal freedom from fear, eternal freedom from pain, eternal freedom from suffering, eternal freedom from loneliness, and insecurity.

That God is setting the standard for life.
That Adam and Eve sinned.
That they disobeyed God.
So we as Adam and Eve’s children, were under their guilt, their disobedience.
That we would all know that we were born with a wrong heart, that we did not make happen.
That it was not our fault!!!!
That it was fixed so long ago.

But He is outlining this that we know we all have a choice to make.
And it’s so much easier to make than cake or death.
Because the cake-the new heart, the new life, the new relationship with our Maker lasts way longer than a piece of cake does.
That this new relationship,, that this new indwelling will last forever.
That it will last beyond our physical bodies expiring.
That it will fill us, the most inner parts of us, now and for all time.
That His Spirit, His love, His life, will fill us with this abounding love, and we will see His faithfulness.
That His Spirit, His love, His life, will cover our lives with His compassionate gracious mercy that removes, pays for any wickedness, sin, or rebellion that was caused by our Adam and Eve hearts.

But God’s allowance of us all being born under this condition, this diseased heart, it was provision.

That this lacking, urges us, prompts us, motivates us to seek Him.
For He wants us to know, and we must know, that we have a need for Him.
Because without Him, we will suffer for all eternity.

God is a God of love.
He is gracious,
He is compassionate.
He abounding in love.
He is faithful!!!
He is love.
And love must be given freely.
So in order to have a choice, to choose Him not, He allowed us these hearts of lacking.
That we would know something is missing.

For He didn’t want robots.
He has animals that have to obey Him.
Chickens, and elephants, whales and finches.
They just live.
They have God’s breath of life in them.
But they are not given the option to know, really know our Maker.
They are not given the option to be like their Maker.
They are not called children of the Most High God.
They are not the ones that banter and discuss, with their Maker.
They are not the ones, that know that they know.
They live and breathe but they just obey.
We are given a choice.

For God-Jesus- wanted children, intimate family.
He wanted people who choose Him.
He wanted real love.

So we were given a choice.

May we know that we know that we know God-Jesus- have given us a choice.

May we know that we know that we know, when we realize this, the choice is better and easier than choosing cake over death.

May we know that we know that we know Jesus made the way, for us to choose this life, an eternal life of intimacy, of love, of joy, of health and healing, of connection with our Maker, our Father, today and forever by just receiving His offering of Lordship, by speaking His name, calling Him-Jesus- into our hearts.
