The lot is cast into the lap but its every decision is from the Lord. Proverbs 16: 33

Aaron the High Priest was commanded to cast lots for the sin offering goat.

The Apostles cast lots to see who the Lord would appoint as the 12th disciple to replace the one that left.

Recently, I started casting lots for my clothes and food so that the Lord would decide what I wear, what I eat.

Today God gave me purple to wear.

I have the Holy Spirit who leads and guides me daily and leads me by peace on the inside.
I am not trying to encourage anyone by any means to gamble.
But it has been a freeing exercise to know, that I know that I know, that even the smallest details of what I wear are being determined by the Lord.
That I would pray and toss my clothes without looking and what I choose with my eyes closed, is His decision.

It has been reminding me that He is sovereign in all circumstances.
It reminds me that nothing can happen without God allowing it.
It reminds me that He cares about every detail of my life.
It reminds me that He wants to lead me in every realm of my life.
It reminds me that He knows better than I do what I need and when I need it.
And it reminds that He wants good for me in every and all circumstances.

May we know that we know, that we know, that God is alive and active, wanting to show us the best path for our lives, as we ask and seek, He will show us the way.

May we know that we know that we know, He is over all things, greater than all things, and He is in charge of all things.

May we know that we know that we know, He is a good good Father with good plans for His children.
