The Covenant

Those Who Live in Awe of the Faithfulness of our Father!
Those Who Find Their Home With Him!

This is my blood of the covenant which is poured out for many, He said to them. Mark 14: 24

I read this and I thought, what covenant.
I thought Jesus was just saving me.
But I discovered Jesus was also showing out God’s perfect plans and His Forever Faithfulness!

Jesus is fulfilling the covenant, the promise between God and Abraham.
A promise that God made to Abraham and His line.
A promise that God sent Jesus to fulfill.
A promise revealed in Genesis 17.
A promise that God was going to make a people, a great line of descendants for Abraham.
A promise of a people that would walk faithfully and blameless before God.
A promise of a people led by God.
A promise of a people that would make up a Kingdom of God that will never end and have more people than stars in the sky.
A people that God would call family, that would be holy.
This is the covenant.
This is the promise that Jesus came to fulfil.

For Jesus, His blood sacrifice on the cross, covers all our sinful nature that we have from Adam and Eve.
Which makes all who receive Him, blameless, and holy.
And since we are following the, our Savior, Jesus Christ, then we are a people led by God.

And all who receive, Jesus Christ, who is a descendant of Abraham, become family.
For Jesus joins us to His family line, making us one of the descendants, one of these people, children of Abraham.
But since God is the Father of mankind, and made all the people before Abraham, we are really all God’s children.

So all who receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, receive and become part of this promise, to be a people led by God, to now be made holy, blameless because of Jesus Christ, part of this Kingdom, that will have more people in it than there are stars in the sky.

May we know that we know that we know Jesus came down to make us a family, a family with Him, family for God through Abraham.

May we know that we know that we know Jesus fulfilled this with His perfect sacrifice on the cross, after His perfect living on the earth.

May we know that we know that we know anyone and everyone can receive this offering, to be God’s child, to be made holy, blameless, walking faithfully, being led by the Only God, becoming part of this eternal Kingdom, for Jesus’s blood made the way.

May we know that we know that we know the heart of our Father, who planned for us to be His family since the beginning of time, that He is the One Who always fulfills His promises, no matter how long they take.
