I tell you in the same way there will be more rejoicing in Heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety nine righteous people who do not need to repent. Luke 15: 7

Everyone needs to repent.
Everyone needs to choose to follow Jesus to get to God.
Everyone needs to repent of this world to be saved.
For it means to change direction to God.

Jesus is talking to people at the time that thought they were righteous by their actions, those who did not think they needed to repent.
It’s those of us that at times thought, Hey I’m a good person.
But God’s law included our thoughts.
So if we ever had a wicked thought in the womb, while growing up, or at any time in our lives, then we broke the perfect law of God and needed Jesus to give us His perfection.

And God in His goodness has already given us provision for this, Jesus Christ and His perfect thoughts.
For He is the only one, the only one who got it right.
For He was the only one with God’s perfect Spirit that we did not have but needed, so we could have right thoughts, too.

And God has graciously given it to us, anyone who chooses to believe and receive Jesus Christ.

May we know that we know that we know, the angels rejoiced when we received Jesus as Lord and now have the ability to have right thoughts and walk in God’s ways.
