Crazy Love

Those Who Get a Heart Change!
Those Who Learn the Truth of God’s Heart!

But he answered his father, “Look! All these years I’ve been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never even gave me a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends. Luke 15: 29

This is representative of religious people.
These people seem to think they are earning their salvation.
Ultimately, this son thought his obeying his father is why He was being loved.
I thought that!
On some level my brain decided that God only loved me because I was being good.

Until I did what I thought was the greatest sin.
I thought God would smite me.
But He didn’t.
He just loved me back into wholeness.

He didn’t shame me.
He didn’t condemn me.
He just loved me and walked me back out onto the right path.

I’m not recommending sinning against God.
But through this, I learned that on some level I had thought God only loved me because I was being good.
But when I wasn’t good- in active rebellion- He didn’t leave me.
He didn’t stop loving me.
He just kept loving on me.
And then He walked me out of that, calmy, faithfully, softly.

May we know that we know that we know that God/Jesus actually love us because we are their children, that it’s not based on our goodness, or the good we think we are being.

May we know that we know that we know that they really won’t leave us or forsake us.

May we know that we know that we know this without having to make some bad choices.

May we know that we know that we know and receive an overwhelming filling and overflow of God’s magnificent love that overpowers all wrong thinking, covers all past mistakes right here and now.
