40 days
Children Who See God’s Heart!
Overwhelmed Sons and Daughters by the Goodness of God!
After forty days Noah opened a window he had made in the ark and sent out a raven, and it kept flying back and forth until the water had dried up from the earth. Genesis 8: 6-7
When I see the forty days of Noah in the ark I think of Jesus.
For Jesus spent 40 days alone in the wilderness being tested.
40 days of waiting, after the rain stopped.
40 days of moving about the ark, with the whole world gone.
Not knowing what was outside.
Then Noah entered a new world.
A new world to start a new way of life.
To start a new people.
And that is exactly what our Messiah did, too!
He entered the world-out of being alone in the wilderness-to lead a new way of life.
To start a new people.
A clean redeemed people.
Noah and his experience let’s us know that we still needed the new way of Jesus, the redeemed life.
For Noah and his family still had sinful hearts.
But Jesus our perfect Messiah, brought His perfection, His perfect Heart, His perfect obedience to the cross for us that when we believe in with His resurrection, His Lordship what He did, we receive this new redeemed heart.
Who, is the Holy Spirit-the Spirit of Truth, the advocate, the guide, the helper, who leads and guides us into Jesus’s way of living, sacrificial love.
May we know that we know that we know everything was written in the Bible that we would see Jesus our Messiah and receive Him and His heart to be led in His ways.
May we know that we know that we know no matter what we are reading in the Bible, it will testify of our beautiful Messiah in some way.
May we know that we know that we know God puts these wonderful details in the Bible for us, that we can know that know that we know, that Jesus really is the Messiah, that He really did save us, that God really does want everyone, everyone, I mean everyone to see Him and be saved!!!
