Hands of My Father

Those Who Find the Father Is Always Reaching Out His Hands!
Those Have a Hope For the Best of Futures!!

But the dove could find nowhere to perch because there was water over all the surface of the earth; so it returned to Noah in the ark. He reached out his hand and took the dove and brought it back to himself in the ark. Genesis 8: 8-9

I read the part He brought it back to Himself, and I had this image in my head pop up.
These loving warm gentle Dad hands, softly wrapping themselves around the bird, and bringing Him in for shelter.
I just imagined this giant sweet smile on His face and how the bird just knew He was safe.
And I thought yes, what loving God we have.
What a loving Father in Heaven, that welcomes us, bringing us into His shelter, our Home, all His little ones in His hands.

And then it made me think of Jesus.
When Jesus went up in the sky, leaving the apostles in the book of John.
Its like this was the allegory of Jesus being welcomed back to Heaven for a little while.
After His sacrifice on the cross.
After He came back from the grave.
After He walked around for 40 days.
God opening up His hands, His arms to take Jesus back into Heaven.

Jesus was given the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove at His baptism.
And like the dove in Noah’s ark, both come back to earth to live.
The dove was let loose when the earth was the waters subsided, the earth was made new again, ready to be lived on.

And Jesus our Messiah is coming back to the earth, to be seen by everyone and live on earth after it has been made new through fire. When it is ready to be lived on by everyone of the Kingdom of God.

May we know that we know that we know our Father, God in Heaven, is reaching down His mighty strong but tender hands to lovingly pull us into, seeking Us, to bring us back from the broken world and lovingly welcome us into His eternal Kingdom of God-led by Jesus Christ, our Savior.

May we know that we know that we know, Jesus our Messiah is coming back from Heaven and will be bringing us with Him, that we would all live in the promised land, Eden Restored, the eternal Kingdom of God, down here on earth that will have been made, newly redeemed.
