Already Clean!

Children Already Clothed in Spotless White Linen!
Friends Of Jesus Whose Ears Have Heard The Good News!!

You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. John 15: 3

Jesus was and is the High Priest of God.
All throughout the Old Testament-the Tanakh-when people were sick, or had a disease, it was only the High Priest that could declare them clean.

Jesus declared His Disciples clean already.
Already clean by the word He had spoken to them.

He is equating cleanliness, to being saved, having life in God’s Kingdom forever.

This signifies that it’s His word that heals us.
That its His word that gives us life.
That its His word that brings us into the forever Kingdom of God.

And this is the cleanliness Jesus is talking about.
His cleanliness, His holiness.
That these disciples are already covered with Jesus sinlessness.

Because they believed His words.
Because they believed He was and is who He said He was.
Because they believed Jesus was the Lord.

So because they believed, they were already clean.
That it was their belief, their faith, in what Jesus said, that they were saved.

May we know that we know that we know it’s our faith in Jesus that saves us.

May we know that we know that we know Jesus offers this to all people, that all hear and believe.

May we know that we know that we know the power we hold in leading others to Christ, by simply telling others His words.
