Moses, Security, and The Holy Spirit

Those Who Find the Spirit Transforms All Our Deserts Into Fertile Fields!
Those Who Become Righteous By His Works, Living in the Fruit of Peace and Confidence Forever!!

When the people saw that Moses was so long in coming down the mountain, they gathered around Aaron and said, “Come make us gods who will go before us. As for this fellow Moses who brought us up out of Egypt, we don’t know what has happened to him”. Exodus 32: 1

This scripture is a perfect example of human nature.
God is showing us our Adam and Eve hearts.
That we always revert to paganism without Him intervening.

That this is proof our of need for the Holy Spirit.
Which we can only receive by believing in Jesus Christ as Lord.
That when we call on His name, we receive His Spirit to live inside us.

When Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden, separation between mankind and God happened.
This led all people to live in insecurity.
It’s why Adam and Eve hid in the garden after disobeying God.
Because our sense of connection, our belonging was severed from our Maker.

So when Moses went away for a long time, it brought insecurity back into the Israelites.
For they had just left on walking journey with a man they didn’t know that well.
Seeing plagues of Egypt from a God they didn’t yet know well.
Feeling crazy alone in the wilderness.
So they turned to the world system.
So they turned to what they could see.
So they turned to worship what they could control.

The Israelites were chosen to be examples.
Chosen to show mankind our need for God.
Chosen to show mankind how our God intervenes.
Chosen to show all people the way to God.

Moses was an allegory of the way to God.
Moses was a man, led by God, leading people to God.
And that is what the Messiah, Jesus Yeshua came to do.

That like Moses, Jesus, Yeshua, led all people in the natural to freedom.
Moses the people from Egypt.
Jesus from slavery to the world system-death, insecurity, eternal suffering.
Moses went away-40 days on the mountain.
And then brought down the truths of God to all people.

But only a few listened. The Levites-the Priests of the Lord.

Jesus went away through His death physically.
But He came back.
Like Moses down the mountain alive.
Sharing truths of God but only to select people, those who were going to call and lead people to Him, like the Levites before.

But then Jesus also went up to Heaven after His death.
He has been away physically a long time.
And it leads people to want to turn to worship what they can see.

Now Jesus came down a second time for people.
He loosed His Spirit, His very eternal presence, that seeks to save and call all people to know and receive and believe in Jesus.

Which is foreshadowed through Moses, when He comes back down the mountain-the second time in Exodus 34.
That all the people begin to believe.
That all people are included in this believing season.

May we know that we know that we know though we all start with an Adam and Eve heart, we can all receive the Messiah, His Spirit that unites us to God, that removes all separation from Him, making us whole, filling us with security that we all long for, by simply believing He is who He says He is and asking Jesus to be our Lord.

May we know that we know that know God foreshadowed everything He was going to do for us through Jesus in the Bible, that when it happens, we would feel secure, confident, in knowing He is faithful, He is good, and He really is God.

May we know that we know that we know Jesus is coming back physically again in the natural, like Moses did, to offer Himself again, to His people Israel who have suffered to be examples through history, and also to start His reign in the natural on the new earth, with the new Heavens in the Kingdom of His, made up of all of us who choose now, to believe and receive.
