Back To This Land

Those Who Will Say Surely God Is In This Place!!
Those Who Will Come Into The House Of God And Dwell Forever!!

I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go and I will bring you back to this land. Genesis 28: 15

Jesus gives Jacob a dream while on a journey.
This is the famous Jacob’s ladder where Jacob dreams and sees angels ascending and descending to the earth from the Lord Jesus above.
That God is sending His servants to us, down to us, helping us.
And He makes Jacob this promise.
That He will be with him, go with him on this journey, and bring him back to this land.

Now this first applies to Israel.
For Jacob gets renamed by Jesus as Israel.
So this is a promise that as the Jews wander in this life, God will bring them back to their land, their promised physical space on this earth.
That He will be walking with them.

But this also applies to all people.
For all who receive Jesus as Lord, He will walk with us on this journey of life.
He comes to us and lives within us, His Spirit inside us.
And then after we pass from this physical body, we go to be with Him face to face, in Heaven.

But this is a temporary assignment.
For we are people of earth.
Our bodies were first made from the dirt of the earth.
So we were always made to dwell on earth.

So God is showing us in the very beginning of the Bible, that those of us who walk with God,-Jesus, will be brought back to this land- the Earth.

For He promises in Isaiah and Revelation that He is remaking this earth.
That there is 2nd Earth, and 2nd Heaven.
That this is one where death will no longer reign.
Where God Himself will come down to dwell with us, forever.
Where streets are made of gold, where The Lord is our Light.
Where we will live reigning and ruling, with our new purposes in this land.
Where death, sickness, disease, and suffering will be removed completely.
That this is the land He will bring us back to.

While we who have believed in Jesus in this life go to stay in Heaven with Jesus, there will be a new season on earth, called the tribulation,
It is a season where God where completely redeem the Jewish people.
It is a season where God will completely redeem the earth.
It is a season where He gives all of humanity one last chance to receive Jesus as Lord.

That during this season—the People of Israel— who are currently in their promised land, will leave these boundaries again.
They will head on a walking journey three times into a Gentile nation.
The first two journeys are to receive seeds of life— food, provision —in the world-wide famine.
This is where they find salvation in Jesus Christ— their long-lost Jewish Messiah.
Then the whole nation of Israel will go to live in this safe space for the rest of this season.

So for 5 years the whole Jewish nation will be in exile yet again.
But this promise—that God gave to Jacob, Israel— still applies.
That He will be with them.
He is going to bring them back to their land.
And this time, to a much, much better version of this land.

For they will be brought back to the New Jerusalem, the New Israel.
That this will take place on the new Earth, with the new Heavens, And all of us who believed before, He will bring us back too.

May we know that we know that we know God’s plan all along since the Garden, was to be with us, always walking with us.

May we know that we know that we know He will bring us back, to our Eden, our lives on earth with Him, in a world where now we will live and not die, feasting on His goodness every day and night.

May we know that we know that we know we don’t have to wait to receive Him and to walk with Him daily but can actually just receive Jesus as Lord today and start walking with the Maker of Heaven and Earth who makes all things new, today, this moment right now.
