Beauty, Most Beautiful, All Together Lovely
Those Who Are Clothed With Beauty for Ashes!
Those Who’s Eyes Gaze on His Glory!
On that day I swore to them that I would bring them out of Egypt into a land I had searched out for them, a land flowing with milk and honey, the most beautiful of all lands. Ezekiel 20: 6
The most fought over space in the world is Israel.
It has been the most fought over space, location, since the beginning of time.
It’s a tiny little area of the world.
It had to be reclaimed in recent generations from the desert, with hydroponic farming and great innovations since the 1800’s, when Mark Twain wrote about it in a sardonic travel guide.
When reading yesterday I kept seeing how God called this land beautiful.
That it’s the most beautiful land to Him.
In the natural it wouldn’t seem so.
For I live in Texas, with beautiful crystal clear spring fed rivers, dramatic thunderstorms that reveal God’s powerful lighting, spreading fire hot light across the sky, thunder so loud you think the universe has spilt in two, and a hum of crickets, locusts, and frogs that lull us to sleep at night.
Then I thought, well, maybe it’s like this stool in our family.
It’s a normal wooden stool.
Yet my family members have fought over it, to use it, all my life.
The only difference is that it has a knot on the wood grain.
That is literally the only difference between the stools.
And we have fought over it, all our lives.
And I thought maybe Israel was like that.
But the more I have read about God’s plan, His design, the more I realize it’s not about the land at all.
It’s simply about God!
That He has chosen this part of the world to be His.
That there is special anointing in this land, because God chose it as His own.
That this is part of His plan for all mankind, that He reveal Himself, show out Himself to us, in this land.
And in that there is something in it for all people.
That in some way we all know, this place this land, is the Maker of Heaven and Earth’s special connection to humankind.
That this land plays a great part in testifying that God is God!
This land, He calls it beautiful, the most beautiful of all lands, repeatedly throughout the Bible.
For it is flowing with provision, essential to life, what we all have needed, all of mankind, Provision for Eternal Life.
For this is where the Messiah for all humanity was born!
For this is where the Messiah for all humanity lived a perfect life!
For this is where the Messiah for all humanity gave up His life to pay for sinful nature of mankind, that we would all have the option to receive Him, to have reconnection in our Spirits to the immortal everlasting Maker of Heaven and Earth, who is gathering up His children, all those who would choose Him back in this life, through Jesus, to be part of His Kingdom, that will be led by Him for all eternity.
So this land, that is so beautiful, is the most beautiful of all lands, is because our most beautiful Savior came down to save us, all of us, here.
And this land is flowing with milk and honey, provision, because our Savior is our wonderful everlasting provider who’s supply of life never runs out.
May we know that we know that we know that the Messiah, His life, death, and resurrection are the most beautiful features of this world.
May we know that we know that we know Jesus offers a beautiful life to all of us, one filled with Him, His Spirit filling us daily and nightly with His love and wisdom and insight, today, tomorrow and forever.
May we know that we know that we know as we have found this beautiful truth, we can be the beautiful feet on the mountains and valleys in every geographic location sharing eternal life through Jesus Christ our Beautiful Messiah, that everyone around us, from every nation, every tribe, and every tongue come to belief and saving, too.
