Better Back Part II
Those Who Receive A Hundred Back And More!!
Those Who Are Headed to God’s House Of Many Rooms!!
All his brothers and sisters and everyone who had known him before came and ate with him in his house. They comforted and consoled him over all the trouble the Lord had brought on him, and each one gave him a piece of silver and a gold ring. Job 42: 11
My mother and I were talking, working on a puzzle.
Her mother’s needlepoint was on the wall behind me while we were talking.
And she said, I will be really disappointed if I get to Heaven and my moms not there.
My mother and I have had this debate for years.
She hasn’t been completely convinced with the scriptures I have given her that she will see all those who went ahead of us, who believed in the Lord, when we get to Heaven.
This morning, reading through parts of Job, I reminded myself of Job’s ending.
And then I realized Job’s ending is an allegory for Heaven.
Because we are headed to a wedding feast in Heaven.
Jesus tells us over and over again that is what we are going to do with Him, feast with fattened calves.
We know from the story of the poor Lazarus that he was carried by angels to Heaven and comforted by Abraham.
Jesus promises us in Mark 10: 29-30 that all that we lost, that we gave up for the kingdom of God, we will get back in this life, a 100 fold, And The Life To Come.
Meaning all the people that we lost-who believed-we will see in Heaven.
That those who went ahead of us, will be in Heaven when we get there, coming to help comfort us, from any and all suffering we had in this life.
May we know that we know that we know though we have lost people in the natural we will see them again.
May we know that we know that we know we who believe are headed to a wonderful home in Heaven with many rooms.
May we know that we know that we know we will be comforted there, feasting with loved ones, receiving more than we ever lost here.
May we know that we know that we know the importance of choosing Jesus, here and now that we be given this eternal life of renewal in God’s Kingdom, the whole reason of this fallen season of creation, a time to choose.
