Blessed and Double Blessing

Children Who Become Trees Planted By Streams of Water!
Sons and Daughters Who Never Wither But Prosper In Everything They Touch!

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers. Psalm 1: 1

In my Bible, Job comes right before Psalm 1.
And I thought how fitting.

I had been doing a deep dive in the book of Job.
I had been reminding myself of Job’s outcome.
I had been reminding myself that Job started blessed and ended blessed.

Then I turned the page and God was declaring the blessing again.
It was like God was making a point to underline what I had just learned.
That Job ended blessed.

And Job speaks of our precious perfect Messiah Jesus.
That though Jesus suffered, He ended blessed too.

For Jesus is now alive again.
Having taken up His life out of the tomb.

For Jesus is now King of the world— over Heaven, Hell and Earth.
Having defeated the enemy of the world.
Having taken back the keys to death, hell and grave, reclaiming His creations, that He lost at Eden by our rebellion.

For Jesus is now gaining more family than He lost.
Having died to His mortal life, losing His immediate flesh family and His Israelite community.
Now He has been gathering spiritual family from every generation, from every nation, from every walk of life, Jew and Gentile since He came out of the grave alive.
All people who have chosen of their free will to love Him back.
Having His family multiplied with more people in it than how high we can count.

May we know that we know that we know that we suffer at times in this life, but we end in blessing.

May we know that we know that we know God raised both Job and Jesus back to life and He will do this for us too.

May we know that we know that we know everything in the Bible testifies of Jesus Christ, that all people would believe and receive Him as Lord, coming into our double portion of blessing, HIM, the King of the Universe, the Lord of Lords, the Wiser than Solomon, Savior of the World who offers all people His free gift of eternal life in His Kingdom of Eden Restored-where death no longer exists, health and youth reign, and we will all have more forever family than can be counted.
