Ever Burning
Those Who Find The Father’s Love Is Higher Than the Heavens!!
Those Who Reflect The Glory Of The One True God!!
Command the Israelites to bring you clear oil of pressed olives for the light so that the lamps may be kept burning. In the tent of meeting, outside the curtain that shields the ark of the covenant law, Aaron and His sons are to keep the lamps burning before the Lord from evening till morning. Exodus 27: 20-21
Reading this I thought how beautiful!
God wants the lamps burning all night long.
At first, I thought yes because God wants us to know we are not alone.
That the light from the tent of meeting is always glowing.
Because God is never sleeping.
That He is always there for us.
That we can call on Him anytime day or night.
That He is available, waiting, His lights on.
That we just show up, and walk in.
And He is ready to listen, ready to speak to us, ready to love on us, ready to help us.
That I can come to my Father in the middle of the night, at 2 am, or at any time.
That He is always ready to welcome me, to hear me, to comfort me.
Then it reminded me of Jesus.
For He is the light of the world.
He is offering all people, day or night, the option to believe in Him.
His flame of truth never going out.
That this light in the temple might not be there now for us to see in Jerusalem.
Because the temple of the Lord became His people.
That God allowed for the physical temple—where this light was to shine all time to be destroyed—just like Jesus was physically.
Because God was restoring them, us, both back in better form.
That Jesus was rebuilt, restored, after three days.
And the temple with this ever-burning light was restored too.
Just this time, it dwells in people.
That this light in the temple that always burns, always is lit, always staying on, always revealing God, His ways, His love to us, is Jesus, His Spirit inside us.
Those who have believed and received Jesus as Lord.
His Spirit inside us that makes us the temple of the Lord, we now holding this light that never goes out.
That the moment we believed and received Him as Lord, He gave us this light.
His light of love, light of truth, light of life, that lasts for all eternity.
This light that never stops burning, day or night.
This light that gives us access to our Father in Heaven at all times.
May we know that we know that we know God showed us this ever burning light in the temple, that we can come to Him at anytime and receive Him, His love, His truth, our Father always keeping the light on for His kids, waiting and willing, always open to receive us.
May we know that we know that we know the physical location on earth might not be able to be seen right now in a physical building, because now the way to access this light, to access His Presence, coming into His tent and asking everything and anything at anytime, is by believing and receiving Jesus Christ and His sacrifice.
May we know that we know that we know when we have asked for, Jesus as Lord, we receive this ever burning light inside, that reveals our Father’s Presence to us daily and nightly, until forever, always staying lit, always giving us access to our Father, and His love, and His truth and His ways, always glowing within us, leading us, bringing us, to see our Father and Savior face to face.
