Chariots and Freedom
Those Led by the Pillar of Life Into The Wilderness of Freedom!
Those Who Receive The Guarantee, No Backs, Seal of Eternal Freedom!!
He took six hundred of the best chariots along with all the other chariots of Egypt with officers over them. Exodus 14: 7
God is specific and intentional in everything He does.
He shows us through the Bible this all the time.
For He specifically mentions minute details and then at time paints big pictures with more general terms.
As someone who writes and edits every day for ministry and for work, I am aware this is intentional, not happenstance.
Because this Bible is our guidebook on the purpose of life, the meaning of who we are and why we are here.
This scripture is oddly specific.
Why not just tell us, that all the chariots in Egypt were brought to hunt down, bring back the Israelite slaves they had literally just released.
But instead God tells us, that 600 of the best chariots and all the other chariots were hunting these barely freed people.
Because the number 600 is significant.
It is to show us the god they are following and why are they hunting the Israelites.
600 harkens to the 6th day of creation, which is when mankind was made by God.
In Revelation we see that the mark the beast, the number of man is 666.
So God is showing us, why they are hunting the Israelites, who they are following, who or what brings slavery.
Because the Egyptians were following the fallen world system, the world where we let ourselves, mankind, our desires, our will, our thoughts, be our own god, is why they are hunting the Israelite's.
That the world system, is always seeking the people of God.
That the fallen world system, the pull, the call of mankind, to make ourselves our own god, make our own vision of life, to make our version of life and our own rules for success, to make our own standard for goodness, our own ways for life, is always hunting, seeking the people of God, to bring them back into slavery to this way of life.
So God wants us to know this fact.
And as we read later in this chapter, God delivers the Israelites from this enemy, again.
That God wipes out these people hunting them, those seeking to enslave them again to this way that leads to eternal death.
May we know that we know that we know God put all the lovely details in the Bible that we would understand this season of life, this side of pre-eternity and know His ways.
May we know that we know that we know following God’s ways, like the Israelite's who followed God into the wilderness, away from Egypt, will also remove us from slavery, bring us freedom from slavery, freedom from fallen creation, bringing us into the eternal truth, the Only God’s Eternal Rules, Life Giving Ways for People, all who choose freedom of God’s ways through receiving the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, our exit into the wilderness, away from our Egypt’s.
May we know that we know that we know though the world system seeks to enslave us again and again, once we have received freedom from Jesus Christ, freedom from slavery of the world, the enemies that seek to enslave us, are removed, eliminated, never again able to enslave us again, their power washed away like the Egyptians and their chariots in the Red Sea.
