Church Age!

Those Who Will Hear With Their Ears And Understand!!
Those Who See With Their Eyes and Turn And Be Healed!!

Therefore I want you to know that God’s salvation has been sent to the Gentiles and they will listen. Acts 28: 28

This statement was made by Paul at the end of the book of Acts at the end of the last chapter.
He was speaking to a group of Jews in Rome.
He had been telling them about Jesus.
That He had been revealing Jesus Christ as the Messiah all through scripture, through Moses and the prophets.
But they didn’t want to hear.
That only a few believed.

But this was prophesied through Moses.
That the first offering of Jesus would not be accepted by most of the Jews, the Israelites.
That on the first offering of God only the Levites believed.
But when Moses came down the mountain the second time, they all chose to believe in God.

Then we see when Jesus came in the flesh-His first coming down the mountain to people.
That only the apostles, a small number of Jews, fisherman, tax collectors believed at first.
Paul who was Saul, became part of this small group of Jews that received Christ as Lord.
They went to preach the gospel first to Jews and then to all the Gentiles.

That what we see at the end of this book of Acts is the beginning of the Gentile Age, the season of the church beginning.
That Paul was letting us know that now the gospel was going to spread throughout the whole world to the Gentiles.
That the One True God was shifting the season.
That Gentiles, who believed and received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior would now be the people leading the world to Jesus and His Kingdom.

We see this proved through the life of Joseph in Genesis.
For Joseph was sent away from His brothers the Hebrews, the Jews. While away he saved the Gentile world, for a long season.

But what we see through Joseph, is that God is going to call His people back to Him.
And that He will do this through the Gentiles.
That we Gentiles would now get to be the Ruth’s leading the Naomi’s to the Kinsman Redeemer Boaz-The Jewish Messiah.
It’s why in the story Naomi (Jewish) leads Ruth (Gentile) back to the land, the One True God.
But then in the story, Ruth is the one who brings Boaz (the Jewish Redeemer) to Naomi.

That we have the opportunity and the privilege to tell all our Jewish friends about their Messiah.
That they would now recognize Him the Jewish Rabbi that He was.
That they would now recognize Him as the Prophet that was to come.
That they would recognize Him all throughout their scripture, the Tanakh.

May we know that we know that we know though we have been given this season, this window of time the church age, a Gentile time of favor, that we spread the gospel to the whole world, Jew and Gentile.

May we know that we know that we know God has not forgotten His first people, His brothers the Jews and expects us Gentiles now, today, to teach, to preach, and love them, provide for them, offer them shelter and blessings, that they see and receive their Messiah, the Jewish Messiah, their Redeemer in this season.

May we know that that we know that they as a people group, are not forgotten, nor have lost their first calling to be shepherds, to lead everyone to the Messiah, it’s just this will take place for those who have to endure, those who have to live through, who will have to suffer through the tribulation—plagues, famines and more— the next season of mankind to come-foreshadowed through Joseph’s story in Genesis and Moses 2nd coming down the mountain, Exodus, Isaiah, Amos and more.
