Naboth and The Vineyard!
Those Who See That the Plans He Has For Us Are Good!!!
Those Who Learn He Who Promised Is Faithful!!
Some time later there was an incident involving a vineyard belonging to Naboth the Jezerite. The vineyard was in Jezreel, close to the palace of Ahab king of Samaria. 1 Kings 21: 1
Naboth had a vineyard.
Then King Ahab saw it and wanted it.
Naboth said it was his family inheritance, the inheritance of his ancestors.
He would not sell it to the king.
So the king’s wife had him accused of blasphemy and he was stoned to death.
Then the king-Ahab-took over the vineyard.
But then God removed Ahab and his whole family off the earth.
All of this testifies of Jesus Christ and His battle with the devil.
For the devil wanted Jesus’s inheritance, Jews and Israel, Gentiles, and all of mankind.
So the devil rallied people against Jesus.
That they would accuse Jesus of blasphemy against God and then steal His vineyard.
The vineyard first being Israel, but also the whole world, all people, all of mankind.
Jesus was killed on the cross, after being accused of blasphemy.
But Jesus-God-came back to life.
That Jesus coming back to life ended Ahab’s reign over the vineyard.
And then His Spirit, the Holy Spirit was loosed all around the world.
That His Spirit and Jesus’s life and words have been conquering. the vineyard for God.
That Jesus has been conquering hearts and reclaiming His vineyard, His ancestral inheritance, humankind.
That Him bringing people into the Kingdom of God, is removing all traces of the enemy and his influence.
We see in this story that the enemy did steal the Jewish people, Israel from the Naboth—the Jewish Messiah, the one who owned and tended the vineyard—for a season.
For most of them did not receive Him as Lord when He walked the earth.
But God has showed us this story that we would have hope.
That we would see that He will end Ahab’s reign and reclaim His first vineyard, Israel, bringing them back to the truth, their real King, their Jewish Messiah.
That Jesus is actually actively doing this, reclaiming His people in Israel in part, right now.
But that He will do this completely in the tribulation, where He puts the complete end to the enemy, Ahab and his family, the devil and his minions.
That the devil will be wiped off this earth at the end times, just like Ahab and his family was back then.
May we know that we know that know that everything in the Bible testifies of Jesus Christ, His purpose, and His Mission that we would see Him, believe He is who He says He is and receive Him as Lord and Savior, the whole mission and meaning to this side of fallen creation.
May we know that we know that we know this season has been allowed that all people have time to choose, who we want to follow, the stealer of the vineyard or the rightful owner King Jesus.
May we know that we know that we know this story is meant to encourage us to know though the vineyard was stolen for a season, the rightful owner is coming back and will completely redeem this earth, ruling His complete vineyard, His inheritance again—the whole world, all of mankind— from Israel.
