His Name Forever

The Children of the Great I Am!
Those Who Find The Forever Faithfulness Of The Father!!

God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The Lord, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you. This is my name forever, the name you shall call me from generation to generation. Exodus 3: 15

In this season I have found that it’s important to remind us of the goodness of God and how God never changes.

See, Moses was sent to set the Israelites free, free from slavery.
That God had seen and heard their suffering.
So He sent Moses to set them free.

And here we see that God is telling us, that His name never changes.
That for all generations, His name stays the same.
Because in the Bible, names are indicative of missions, purposes, callings.
So God is telling us first that His mission is never going to change.
That He stays the same no matter what is changing around us in this temporary season of life.

That His mission was to set His people free.
That He is always the one who sends freedom to His people.
That He hears and sees and sets His people free from slavery now and forever.
That He has sent someone in each generation to set His people free, on this side of eternity.
Moses for them then.
Then another Jewish Man later.
But this time, this Jewish man, came to set all of humanity free from slavery.
God’s Son, His One and Only Son, the Messiah, Jesus Christ.

So all people have this promise that God sent the One we have all needed to be set free from slavery, now and for eternity.
Freedom from slavery of striving to be saved.
Freedom from slavery of what harmed us here and now.
Freedom from slavery of obedience to the world system, of its thoughts, its oppressions, its goals, its fear and short sightedness of emptiness that never complete, that never fills.
And Freedom from slavery of eternal separation from God our Father, Jesus our Savior, Who is literally composed of love, Who’s mere presence brings physical, emotional, mental and eternal healing, where He promises we will live in a fullness of joy, learning and living with Him, the Lover of our Souls.

But more so, in this season of the church age, those of us living at the end of the Bible, He let us know way back in Exodus, that He will not and has not forgotten His first children, the Israelites, the Hebrews, either.
That He will forever be the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob.
That He will never give up on them.
That they will always be His.
That they will always belong to Him.
That He will never forsake them.
That He will still come to them, to redeem them, the Sons of Abraham, the Daughters of Sarah.

May we know that we know that we know God is faithful.

May we know that we know that we know God sent His Son to deliver all mankind that all become part of His Kingdom.

May we know that we know that we know God has not forgotten the children of Israel, forever being their God and He will reveal to them their Messiah, the One Sent to set them free from slavery too.
