Good Plans, Good Purposes
Those Who Learn That What The Enemy Means For Evil, God Means For Our Good!!
Those Who See That His Plans For Us Are Always Good!
For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this? Esther 4: 14
I had just asked Jesus for motivation to keep writing.
I’m on my third year of individual devotionals.
For my goal is to have three full years of rotating daily devotionals.
And I have had so much spiritual warfare to try to stop me lately.
I write the training pieces as Jesus presents me with other spiritual warfare battles or people who deeply need to know the topic or healing in that realm.
However, with these devotionals I go through books of the Bible that I am reading and make notes.
Then I go through my notepads and make them into something that can glorify Jesus, lead others to know Him, lead others to know how to receive Him, and hopefully encourage someone.
Even if the topic is dry, just the learning, exposing the deeper truth that God wants me to share, brings me such encouragement, such joy and hopefully others.
But lately I have been attacked with actual people of discouragement, trying to devalue me.
I even had a dream last night that a person with a megaphone was shouting at me, that no one wants to hear what I’m writing.
I know its spiritual warfare.
I know that I need to keep going forward.
That I cannot rely on feelings to get me through.
Some sweet friends last night told me, you wouldn’t be being attacked if you weren’t making an impact.
I recognize the uniqueness of my situation.
I see how God made a way for me to do this.
I see how God has opened this door for me.
And actually propelled me through this door.
And I recognize this scripture- that by the way I randomly opened up to after praying for motivation when I sat down to write this-is Jesus telling me:
Little girl, I made you for this season.
I made you for this task.
I put you here for this task.
I trained you for this task.
I opened the door for you for this task.
I brought the people that helped you do this task.
I worked out your work life that you could do this task.
But I realized this attack has been so much greater.
Because it revealed my heart to me.
In both good and bad ways.
In bad ways because I realized they shook my faith in who God made me to be.
In who I have been for years.
In the purposes I wanted to do all my life (and have only been allowed to do now for the last few years, after much training with Jesus in the wilderness for decades).
In who Jesus made me into being, especially since healing me physically.
In who Jesus made me into being when He healed me emotionally.
Seeing how easily I could be manipulated and discouraged.
But also in good ways.
Because now I get to see Him fill me daily with strength and encouragement.
Because now I get to have friends who encourage me.
Because now I get to know, this really is Him working through me, not just me making things happen.
Because now I get to see Him better again.
Because now I get to see Jesus show up and give me another testimony that I can share of His love, of His power.
Because now I get to see miracles daily.
Because now I get to have a deeper relationship with Jesus, knowing Him better, trusting Him daily, where I will get to live in greater peace, greater confidence, greater joy.
Because it means I am entering a new season being grown for a new season, being prepared for a new season, of blessing, my next season of purpose.
May we know that we know that we know we were all made for a purpose bigger than ourselves.
May we know that we know that we know there will be attacks along the way to stop us from these purposes.
May we know that we know that we know these attacks are just opportunities to see Jesus show out in our lives, to see that He is faithful, to see He is bigger, to see that He is more powerful, that we fall in love with Him, that we grow in our faith, and actually be blessed in greater ways, in all the ways, all the while fulfilling everything we were called to do.
