He replied, “As you enter the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him the house that he enters. Luke 22: 10
So often through the last year and half God has had me reveal Jesus Christ concealed through scripture.
So much of this was because I work with many Jewish doctors who have knowledge of the Old Testament.
That I could point them to see their Messiah in every page, in every book, that they would believe.
So when I started revealing Jesus through the Tanakh, the Old Testament through everything could see,
I started finding more and more details through the Bible.
That God is just so detailed.
That He has filled the Bible full with beautiful little easter eggs for us to find.
This scripture, Jesus is pointing all His disciples to follow a man carrying a jar of water.
That they are to follow him into the house.
And that is where Jesus is going to host the Passover dinner, His last supper before being sacrificed as the Passover lamb.
Reading it I thought yes,
We are all supposed to follow the man carrying the jar of water into the house.
We are all supposed to follow Jesus.
Jesus who gives us this jar of water.
Jesus who’s sacrifice that started that night, is what brings us the jar of water that we all need.
That we are supposed to follow, obey, let Jesus lead us into His house, His Kingdom, that we receive by believing in His sacrifice that started that night.
And when we do, then we are given the gift of this jar of water, this gift of living rivers of water that fills us.
A jar of water that will never run dry.
A spring of life, that reconnects us back to our Father God, the Holy Spirit.
May we know that we know that we know we are all called to follow the man carrying the jar of water into the house.
May we know that we know that we know that when we do we have received eternal life, a place, a space in God’s Kingdom.
May we know that we know that we know this jar of water, life eternal is offered to anyone willing to follow Jesus Christ.
