How much less, then, will He listen when you say that you do not see Him, that your case is before Him and you must wait for Him. Job 35: 14
Job and his friends are debating all that has happened to Job.
He has lamented being born.
He is going through all his actions trying to find out why this has happened.
Then Job calls out to God.
Now we who have read the story know how this ends.
We know the why of what happened to Job.
And we know the end that Job has.
That God was allowing Job’s faith to be tested that the devil actually turn and believe in God again.
And God blesses Job with double all he lost, when the testing is over.
But during the testing his friend says something wise.
That Job’s case is before God.
That He must wait for God.
That only God can tell him, why.
That only God can resolve these issues.
Job calls out to God.
And God answers him.
Job learns that God comes down and answers our questions.
Job learns that God speaks to us through our storms, in our storms.
Job learns that God was watching and listening even before this trial.
Job learns just how powerful and majestic God is.
Job learns how gracious and merciful God is too.
We learn that God had His eye on Job.
We learn that God was actually proud of Job.
We learn that God was using this trial as an opportunity to brag on Job.
We learn that God was using this trial as an opportunity for others to see real faith.
We learn that God was using this trial as an opportunity for all people to see God.
We learn that God was using this trial to teach all people God's thought processes.
We learn that God was using this trial to teach all people God’s bigger plans.
We learn that God was using this trial to teach all people how much He cares that people and His creation are restored to Him.
We learn through Job that we have to take our eyes off our circumstances.
We learn through Job we are called to have faith and trust in God our Father, no matter what we see.
We learn through Job we can call out God and be heard.
We learn through Job we might be an example that is bringing someone around us saving faith.
We learn through Job, God will show up and bring healing and vindication.
May we know that we know that we know the story of Job is the story of every believer, that we are called walk in this kind of faith, trusting the One who heals us, who vindicates us, and brings blessing to us and through us.
May we know that we know that we know this is also the hidden story of our Jewish Messiah, the Only Truly Innocent One who suffered greatly for all people, that we would all come to receive His sacrifice, that we be restored to our Father God and healed for all eternity, restored with double provision, double joy, double the family, and given rights to His Kingdom of Life, Healing, Joy and Peace for all eternity.
May we know that we know that we know if we are walking through a great trial too, that we would know our case is before God, He sees us, He is watching us, and that we can call out to God, remembering these great examples before us, that we have peace, and joy in the moment knowing that they both had the greatest outcomes and so will we.
