Unity In Seeing Him

That day Herod and Pilate became friends—before this they had been enemies. Luke 23: 12

Two men who were called to judge Jesus.
They both found that Jesus was innocent.
And in learning this fact, these men found peace with each other.
These two men who had been enemies.
They found peace with each other because of Jesus.

It is what God does for all of us through Jesus Christ!
That Jesus, His innocence, His truth, unites enemies.

For Jesus, His death brought peace.
His death brought peace to the world,
His death brought peace for mankind with God.
For we were God’s enemies, born with a heart bent away from Him.
So, everyone who believes in Jesus Christ, who receives His sacrifice, we receive peace, with God, the Father.
That now we never have to suffer wrath from God.
Now we have been made friends with God, no longer enemies.
That now we are in unity with Him, saved from any ire to come.
For this is why Jesus came.

Then we find that we gain peace and unity with others of mankind.
That we people who believe, we can have peace and unity, even with previous human enemies.
That God will unite the hearts of those who believe in Him in peace, in friendship, even if we were previously against each other.
That our belief in Jesus, makes us part of the same team.
That our belief in Jesus, makes us part of the same Kingdom.
That our belief in Jesus, makes us part of the same family.

May we know that we know that we know our God is a good God who seeks to give us peace and unity with Him and with those around us.

May we know that we know that we know this is why Jesus came, to give us peace and unity with God our Father, our Maker, and peace and unity with those around us.

May we know that we know that we know the moment we believe in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for us, we have received this peace between us and God and are now part of His forever family, His kingdom, in friendship with Him, and all the other believers around the world today and forever.
