He Came To Serve!

Those Who Are Known By The Good Shepherd!!
Those Who Have Chosen To Receive The Helper, The Advocate Who Will Be With Us Forever!!

They replied “if today you will be a servant to the people and serve them and give them a favorable answer, they will always be your servants.” 1 Kings 12: 7

This is Solomon’s wise advisors speaking to Solomon’s son.
The people have asked for some help, some freedom from heavy taxes.

They are teaching us that we are called to serve those who we are appointed over.
That this, being love, being kind, being merciful is what will keep them loyal.

But this also foreshadows the Messiah that was to come, who has come, Jesus, Yeshua.

For Jesus, when He came, kept telling us He came to serve.
That He Himself bore our burdens.
That He Himself came to serve by paying for our disobedience in the Garden of Eden.
That He Himself came to serve us, teaching us about God our Father.
That He Himself came to serve us, bringing healing, provision, wisdom.
That He Himself came to serve us, giving us a favorable answer:
that we can just receive what He did, asking Him into our hearts that gives us eternal life with Him, unity with our God our Father, our Maker again, becoming children of the Most High, getting to live in His Kingdom of light, of love and of joy for all time.

May we know that we know that we know Jesus came to serve all people blessing us with His offering.

May we know that we know that we know this offering, His favorable answer, is the best gift anyone could ever receive.

May we know that we know that we know once we have received Jesus as Lord and Savior—His favorable answer/offering—we will always belong to Him, always being part of God’s Kingdom which gives us provision, protection, healing, joy, and more, for all time.
