Healing, Life, Words

The Spirit gives life, the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life. John 6: 63

Talitha koum, I say to you little girl get up.

Go!

Get up! Pick up your mat and walk!

Jesus spoke and they were healed.
Jesus’s mere words brought healing.
Jesus told them to believe and then they were empowered to do what He said.

For He is the Lord our Healer.
And when He speaks even our flesh has to obey.
For He is the One who made our bodies.
For He is the One who spoke Creation into being.
For He is the One who even the wind and the waves have to obey!

May we know that we know that we know we have the power to speak Jesus’s words from the Bible over ourselves, our bodies, our families and our situations.

May we know that we know that we know His words contain the same healing power today that they did the moment He spoke them on earth back then.

May we know that we know that we know, He gave us His words for us to speak, that we would see His healing power, Him still speaking them to us, over us, using them to heal us today.
