He’s Bigger!!

Those He Is Creating With New Pure Hearts, With Steadfast Spirits Within!
Those Who Will Have Been Restored With The Joy Of Our Salvation And A Willing Spirit That Sustains Us!!

You would have no power over me if it were not given to you from above. John 19: 11

What a statement!
Jesus made this speaking to Pilate.
He had been slandered by His people.
He had mocked by Romans soldiers.
He was standing being accused and asked questions.
And He was not defending Himself.

Pilate irritated that Jesus wouldn’t answer his questions.
Pilate being the governor of the area.
Pilate expecting a man on trial for death to plead His cause.

And Jesus only answered surrender.

Jesus surrendered to God’s plan.
Jesus knew that God was in control.
Jesus knowing this was The plan, The Only plan.
Jesus knowing He could trust God.

For Jesus Himself was God.
So this was Jesus’s plan.
That He knew the outcome.
That He knew that this was good.
That He knew the power that Pilate had.
Because He had given Pilate that power.

And this is our story too.
For God is sovereign over all people.
And He has allowed people in authority over us.
Sometimes people who allow harm to us.
Sometimes people who are unfair to us.
Sometimes people who people who slander us, who confine us, who condemn us.

And Jesus is showing us this principle.
That He is bigger than these people
That He Himself allowed them over us.
That they could do nothing without Him allowing it.

In this we can have trust.
In this we can have hope.
In this we can breathe again.

That the One who loves us, will limit the destress.
That the One who made us is using this for our good.
That the One who died for us, can stop this, change it, turn everything around.

That God won’t allow something to destroy us.
For Jesus wasn’t destroyed but made.
Made the Savior of the world.
Made the Love of the lives of every generation of every people and every tribe.
Made the Rightful King of the World.
Made the Newly restored owner of the Vineyard.
Made the Holder of the Keys, to Death and Hades.

May we know that we know that we know no matter where we find ourselves our God is good and has good plans for us.

May we know that we know that we know that satan himself had to ask to test Job, that he is not the authority over us, but God our loving Father who sent Jesus to suffer and die for us, so we wouldn’t have to, is.

May we know that we know that we know that Jesus surrendering to God’s authority that brought His suffering, was for our good, our forever good that saves us, that heals us, that blesses us for all eternity.

May we know that we know that we know seeing His example and knowing He is in control will allow us to trust, to hope, to believe, and know that no matter what we are going through, like Jesus, He will use this for our good, Him being our author, the finisher of our faith, leading us to eternal blessings too.
