His Forever

Those Who Are Called His People!
Loved Ones of the Lord!

I will betroth you to me forever; I will betroth you in righteousness and justice, in love and compassion. Hosea 2: 19

I couldn’t decide what to write this morning.
I read so much of the Bible and I had so many ideas.
So I just randomly opened the Bible and pointed to a scripture with my eyes closed.

The timing was so interesting because I had just been surrendering to Jesus all morning telling Him that no matter what, if these trials don’t end or if He doesn’t bring my long-awaited promises to pass, if nothing changes, I’m still going to serve Him.

I’m still going to tell everyone and anyone about Jesus.
I’m still going to write devotionals and Bible trainings that bring healing.

And not able to decide how to move forward in the ministry He had given me, I let Him decide.

And this is our God.
He brought me the most loving response there could have been.
That He has chosen me to be His forever.
That He is never letting me go.

That He loves me in the most intimate, always for me, always showing up, covering me with the unconditional, sweetest, tender, merciful, always forgiving, always smiling, always looking for my good intentions ways.

The eternal love that brings me hot chicken soup when I am sick, holds my hand when I scared, guides me into a room with His hand on my back to give me confidence, laughs when I sing like scully from the little mermaid, and tells me the truth when I don’t want it and am way off base.

The ever-flowing love that like the waves of the ocean that never stops coming to cover me, overwhelm me, surround me, calling to me, comforting me, letting me know He is there and is never leaving.

May we know that we know that we know He offers this love to each and everyone of us.

May we know that we know that we know Jesus made this love possible for each and everyone of us to receive.

May we know that we know that we know all we have to do is believe and receive Jesus Christ and His perfect sacrifice on the cross, receiving Him as Lord.
