The War Was Won!

New Creations in Christ Jesus!
Those Walking in Victory!!

Sound the trumpet in Gibeah, the horn in Ramah. Raise the battle cry in Beth Aven, lead on Benjamin. Hosea 5: 8

This is God foretelling of Jesus.
His plan to redeem His people-the Israelites-from paganism.
His plan to redeem all of humanity, from the enemy’s world system, through the people of Israel, the Jewish line.
His plan of war against the enemy of all people’s souls!

For to raise the trumpet was to raise a battle cry in Gibeah, Saul’s homeland, where Saul got lost along the way, the example of all peoples struggle.

To bring the horn means to bring strength against Ramah.
Ramah means height.
This was foretelling of Jesus to come conquer the places where people sacrificed to false Gods, the high places.

To raise the battle cry in Beth Aven, was to explain that Jesus was coming to raise a battle against the house of wickedness, satan’s world system.

That He would destroy Israel in this war.
Then a couple verses later He speaks about this war, that He will revive us on day two and on the third day, restore us.
So this war against Israel, the destruction that was coming, was all going to take place in the body of Jesus Christ!

That destroying His body would bring the war against the mentioned places, Gibeah, Ramah, Beth Aven—what led to these places, the sinful nature of mankind, given to us at Eden by Adam and Eve falling.

All of these battles were won, by the life and sacrificial death of Jesus Christ at the cross.

Our Mighty Gideon taking on the whole world by Himself.
Our Strong Samson breaking down the walls of the kingdom of darkness in one fell swoop.
Our Faithful Nehemiah sitting in the ashes and rising to rebuild us better, stronger, healthy.

That now because of Jesus and His sacrifice for humankind, to redeem us, to save us, we those who have received His sacrifice, have also defeated the world system too.
That He defeated our natural heart and made a way for us to now have His heart.
His Holy perfect heart.
That leads us to Him.
That leads us on the best path for His namesake.

May we know that we know that we know Jesus already defeated the world system of sin and corruption for us.

May we know that we know that we know if we want freedom, we can just ask Jesus into our hearts, that we would receive all that He fought to give us, His heart, His ways, His victory, His everything.
