When They Saw

Those Who Have Seen God Fight Their Battles!
Those Who Know God is Their Strength and Defense!!

And when the Israelites saw the mighty hand of the Lord displayed against the Egyptians the people feared the Lord and put their trust in Him and Moses His servant. Exodus 14: 31

When they saw His hand against their enemies.

When they saw that He came down and fought their battles.

When they saw the provision that God had for them.

When they saw God’s incredible power to set them free from oppression.

When they saw that there was nothing too difficult for God.

When they saw that He controls the seas, the winds, the light, the clouds, fire, the sand.

When they saw— He was a loving Good God who cared about protecting them, taking care of them, leading and guiding them—they believed and followed Him.

These trials allowed them to see God, His character, His faithfulness, His heart.
Without these trials they would not have known that they know that the know, God is who He says He is.
And that is why God allows trials in our lives, too.

That we would see His wonderful powerful impossible doing coming down to be with us, Father, who cares about us, His little kids and takes care of us intimately and decadently.

May we know that we know that we know each trial we go through is just an opportunity to see God and see how deeply He loves us and how He can provide in ways we never contemplated or imagined possible.
