It’s a Promise

Those Who Will Sing for Joy!
Those Who Become the Well-Watered Gardens of the Lord that Will Sorrow No More!!

The Lord will deliver Jacob and redeem them from the hand of those stronger than they. Jeremiah 31: 11

In this day and age who doesn’t need to hear this.
That God will redeem us from the hand of those stronger than us.
He was speaking to the Israelites that were about to go into exile.
That God would give them freedom, bringing them back into their land, after this season.

But this applies to all people.

For Jesus’s ministry started with speaking about how He came to set the captives free.
For Jesus came to set us free from the enemy that was stronger than all of us, our hearts of rebellion given to us in Eden.
That Jesus came to set us free from the rebellion that the enemy encouraged in Adam and Eve, that corrupted all mankind.
That Jesus came to set us free from all that we can’t seem to set ourselves from, any addictions, any bad habits, any wrong thinking, any oppression of the enemy on our minds, our bodies, our souls.
Heck, Jesus came to set me free from eating too many cookies this holiday season!
For Jesus came to give us freedom from this world’s system of slavery to our flesh and the one who can manipulate us in the flesh, the devil.

May we know that we know that we know Jesus came to set us free.

May we know that we know that we know we all have access to receive and live in freedom by receiving Jesus Christ as Lord.

May we know that we know that we know if we are currently suffering under some oppression from the enemy, that we know we have this promise, that God will surely deliver us from it.
