Smiling At Us
Those who Find Their Song of Praise!!
Those Who’s Hearts Become Full of Gratitude Flooded With Ever Flowing Love!
His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse nor his delight in the legs of a warrior. The Lord’s delight is in those who fear Him, who put their hope in His unfailing love. Psalm 147: 10-11
I read every morning and every evening.
I go through certain books of the Bible, then move onto others.
After a wonderfully long weekend of baptism and a guest speaker who preached on our worth and value was determined by God at creation, so full, I decided to just open my Bible randomly and read.
My Bible opened to the Psalms.
And this just jumped off the page.
It gave me such rest that I didn’t read all the other regularly scheduled readings.
I just thought, how nice.
I imagined God have a twinkling in His eye, with a big smile for me.
That anyone who put their hope in God’s unfailing love, He will delight in.
And I felt warm and loved and went to bed.
For it was encouraging that everyone who believes that God will take care of them, that He loves them, He delights in them.
That He smiles at all of us who believe He is for us, that He indeed loves us.
And this is the basis, the beginning of believing, and receiving the proof of His unfailing love for us, Jesus the Messiah.
For Jesus came down from His throne in Heaven, to be the light of the world, leading us to the truth, that God is our Father and loves us, and made a way for us to get back to Him, to be reconnected to Him forever, through Jesus, His perfect life, His perfect obedience to God’s ways, and then His perfect payment for our sinful nature, the separation we received at Eden from Adam and Eve.
May we know that we know that we know, it delights God, pleases God when we choose to believe what He says, That He is for us, that He loves us.
May we know that we know that we know Jesus is the proof of this never-ending love, for His sacrifice unites us to God, for all eternity, today, tomorrow, and into a forever, with a number of days so vast that it cannot be counted.
May we know that we know that we know this season of fallen creation is our time to see and receive this wonderful generous love, that it be ours forever.
