Loving Heart-Skilled Hands
Those Covered and Clothed With Eternal Life!
Children Who’s Hearts Will Live Forever!!
Fashion a breastpiece for making decisions—the work of skilled hand. Exodus 28: 15
God is giving Moses instructions on the clothes that the Priests are to wear.
They are to make a breastpeice of gold.
It will be covered with gems and the names of the 12 tribes.
I imagine this is a beautiful piece of artwork.
But what is so beautiful about this breastpiece—
Is that this symbolic of the new heart that God promises all people who believe in Him.
The new heart that leads us and guides us to make decisions.
The new heart that leads us and guides us to make Godly decisions, going the ways God wants us to.
The Israelites, the 12 Tribes, were to lead all people to the One True God.
The One God who would give all people a new heart, and new Spirit that would lead us to follow Him.
Because the natural heart we were given through birth, due to Adam and Eve’s disobedience In Eden, made our hearts bent away from God.
The natural heart which keeps people separate from God, here and now and for all eternity.
Separate from God who is love, who is health, who is all things we seek for in this life and hope for in eternity.
So this breastpiece is showing us that God is going to give us a new heart to make decisions, His heart.
This only comes through receiving Jesus’s sacrifice.
That is why the Israelites, had a physical representation of this heart.
Because it was foreshadowing of what Jesus-the Messiah- was going to offer all people.
He had not come yet in the physical when this instruction was given.
For God always prepares us, was preparing all people, to receive Jesus and what He would offer when He arrived on earth.
Since this was clothing meant for priests, it means that when we receive Jesus Christ as Lord, which gives us this new heart, then we have become the priests, the people called to lead everyone and anyone to Jesus Christ, the One True Savior, the Lord of All Mankind, the One True God.
God notes that this will be done by the work of a skilled hand.
It’s why Jesus was a craftsman in His human job.
For He was a skilled worker.
And His beautiful nail scarred hands, were part of the sacrifice that gives us this new heart.
That He is a skilled surgeon.
The skilled hand that God Himself, Jesus and our Father, would use to remove our natural hearts and give us a spiritual eternal, God loving, God seeking, sound mind, heart from God.
That heart that reconnects us back to Him, and His life-giving ways.
That when we believe and receive Him as Lord and Savior, receiving this new heart, it won’t hurt!
We won’t feel as if we went through a traumatic heart transplant surgery.
That this skilled hand, will gently, lovingly, remove the old and replace it with our new heart.
That our Father and Savior will lead us in His ways, with skill, with expertise, accomplishing the completeness of our faith as only they can.
May we know that we know that we know God was showing us the beautiful gifts Jesus was offering us through His sacrifice, when God was outlining every part of the temple of the Lord and all the clothes required for it.
May we know that we know that we know we can all receive this new heart that will be seamlessly transplanted inside us giving us eternal life, giving us the right heart that leads us to love and seek the one True God and His life giving ways the moment we receive Jesus Christ as Lord and His sacrifice on the cross.
May we know that we know that we know the 12 Tribes of Israel and the chosen people are not forgotten but are shown to be at the core of this heart, God’s heart, with their first calling to point all people to our Father God, the One True God, and then bring forth the Messiah, Jesus Christ, from their Jewish line, these gems, these names, on the breastpeice pointing everyone to these facts, that they, that we would receive Jesus Christ the Messiah, God’s literal heart, when He came down in the form of Jesus the Messiah.
