Miracles of Words!

The Poor In Spirit that Become Wealthy Beyond Compare!
Those Who Mourned in This Life But Are Then Comforted Forever, and Ever, and Ever and Ever!!!

He answered, Then I beg you father, send Lazarus to my family; for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment. Luke 16: 27-28

Jesus is speaking this story.
He is telling us about a poor Lazarus who was swept up to Paradise.
He is being comforted, loved on there.
And the rich man, who saw the beggar, the poor Lazarus in life, died the same day but went to Hades, a place of torment.
This rich man can see the poor Lazarus being comforted and asks for help.
For the rich man has five brothers and does not want them to suffer the same fate that he is.
Jesus gives this number because with the rich man, that makes six brothers, the number of man.
Jesus is calling all of mankind to repent.

The rich man begs that if a man, Lazaurs comes back to life, He can go warn these brothers of his, ultimatelly all of mankind.

And Abrham answers something interesting.
He says they have Moses and the Prophets.
That if they do not believe what Moses and the Prophets wrote, they wot believe in salvation even if a man comes back to life to warn them.

Now, I know that Jesus did come back to life
And He did warn people.

But what we are to learn from this story, that ultimately it isn’t the miracles that make people believe and receive in Jesus’s sacrifice.
That it’s really the words of the Bible, God’s words, Jesus’s Words, The Holy Spirit writing through prophets speaking, that brings people to saving faith.

It’s why the Israelites while receiving miracle after miracle after miracle on their journey to the Promised Land, and they still suffered lack of faith in God and His good plans.

That God has made His saving faith very simple.
That if we hear and believe His words, we will be saved.
And Jesus was letting all the people of that generation, who received and saw miracle after miracle, know the importance of God’s words.
That God’s words save and heal.
That God’s words are the true miracles.
That God’s words will open out mankind to believe and receive Paradise.

May we know that we know that we know the power we wield by sharing God’s words, scripture to everyone and anyone that they be saved from eternal torment and brought into eternal Paradise with us.
