Obedience

Wise Ones Who See the Goodness of God!
Surrendered Children to the Best Father in the Universe!

Then He went down to Nazareth with them and was obedient to them. Luke 2: 51

Jesus was God with Us.
He was our example to love and follow.
He had just been preaching and teaching people decades older than Himself, schooling them on God’s truths, His truths.
And we see here in His childhood that He obeyed His parents.

He was the One who spoke creation into being.
He is the One who designed people’s bodies and formed them from dirt.
He is the One that the wind and waves have to obey.
He is the One that set the boundaries of the oceans.
He is the One who created the molecules that make up water.
And He chose to humble Himself, to obey fallible humans.

He did this all for us.
He submitted His will for eternal blessings for all of humanity.
He humbled Himself to obey His very creations that He was dying to save, so that we could be redeemed and renewed with Him and His perfect nature.

If the Maker of Heaven and Earth can choose to obey fallible humans, He will give us strength, joy and motivation to obey Him.

For He is good.
For He is for us.
For He knows the end from the beginning.
For He knows what we were made for.
For He knows how to get us where we need to be, when we need to be.

Can there be pains and troubles involved in this?
Yes, but He knows that it will bring us a greater glory, a greater blessing, that we will never lose.
That it will last for all eternity.

Just like His obedience, over and over in this life, gave Him His people back, His children, His creations, He long sought after desires, to be reunited with Us who Believe, for us to Receive His nature, to be filled with His indwelling Spirit, to now Him to never have to be parted with us, the Ones He loves, we will receive a greater blessing by obeying Him, in our lives and our futures to come, greater than we can fathom, more joys, more exciting opportunities, new challenges to meet, new adventures to be had.

May we know that we know that we know, we will always win when we obey the Great I Am.
