Like Moses
Those Who Eyes Will Be Opened!
Those Who Will Hear and Believe!
Moses was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights without eating or drinking water. And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant—the Ten Commandments. Exodus 34: 28
Moses was an allegory of the Messiah.
God’s Son born through the Jewish line that would deliver all people from slavery to world and bring them into the Promised Lands, God’s Kingdom. (see Messiah Revealed and Greater Than Moses trainings).
Moses goes up the mountain of God, 40 days and 40 nights, to spend time with God, that he would bring down rules, a new way of living for the Hebrews.
Moses is gone for such a long time, that the Hebrews revert to the pagan ways of worshipping gold statutes thinking Moses is dead.
Moses comes back and is upset.
God brings cleansing to the people.
Then Moses goes away again for another 40 days and 40 nights, bringing back the commandments of God again but this time the people follow.
Jesus went into the wilderness 40 days and 40 nights, fasting at the beginning of His ministry.
This was His first coming, down from the Mountain of God, God Himself coming down from Heaven.
He went and told the Hebrews of the new way of God, the Only way to God, through the forgiveness of our sins through His sacrifice at the cross.
Then He after dying to pay for our sinful nature, opening the way to God forever, and coming back to life, He went away to God for some time again.
Which parallels Moses going back to the Mountain of God, Jesus to Heaven, being away again for some time.
We are still waiting for Jesus’s second coming.
But in the example, we see with Moses at his second time down the mountain, bringing the new ways of God, the Israelites, the Hebrews receive, believe it, and obey it.
Jesus the Messiah is coming back, a second time.
He tells us over and over again in scripture.
And this allegory of Moses is just one example.
But it is there to show us that God is coming back a second time, Jesus in the flesh, to speak to, to love on, to teach the Jews, the Hebrews, the Israelites, the only way to God.
And this time they will receive it.
Like God shows us with Moses.
That at Jesus’s second coming, the Jewish people will believe, we receive His way, His offering, His ways of life and redemption.
May we know that we know that we know since God shows us this in Exodus, one of the first books in the Bible, that this was God’s plan all along.
May we know that we know that we know God gives all people second chances.
May we know that we know that we know God never stops calling each and every one of us, reaching out to us, seeking us, coming down to us, that each and every one of us would believe and receive Him, His Kingdom, the real Promised Land.
